1. Who operates DOYT
PawPaw Works operates DOYT, a local-first focus timer and task app for iOS. DOYT does not require a PawPaw account. This policy explains what the production app processes on your device and what limited information leaves the device.
2. Information processed on your device
DOYT stores app content locally, including task titles and emoji; queue and history records; logical focus sessions and their timing, status, and counters; timer settings; onboarding, haptic, rating, and other preferences; colors and Dynamic Island presentation; saved style presets; and the local state used for the 72-hour DOYT Pro Preview. DOYT and its extensions share some of this local data through an Apple App Group container on your device. CloudKit sync is not enabled for the DOYT data store.
If you select a Lock Screen photo, DOYT transforms it on the device into a compressed 1200 × 480 JPEG derivative used by the app. DOYT does not retain the original selected image bytes. It may retain a derivative while a current or saved style preset still references it.
Remote Notice responses, cache validators, and locally completed announcement identifiers are also stored on the device. DOYT does not upload task content, queue or history content, session content, customization content, presets, or Lock Screen photo derivatives to a PawPaw Works application server.
Depending on your privacy setting, a Live Activity can display a task title and emoji on the Lock Screen or Dynamic Island. DOYT updates that activity locally and does not use a PawPaw Works push server for it.
If you choose data export, DOYT creates a JSON file containing task identifiers, emoji, titles, state, order, and timestamps, then presents the system file exporter so you can choose where to save it. A style preset share code is generated locally, excludes photo metadata and image bytes, and is shared only when you use the system sharing control. These items leave DOYT only when you choose a destination, and that destination handles them under its own terms and privacy practices.
3. Purchases, Apple, and RevenueCat
DOYT uses Apple In-App Purchase and RevenueCat to offer, validate, restore, and maintain the Lifetime DOYT Pro entitlement. There is no DOYT sign-in. DOYT configures RevenueCat without a custom App User ID, so the RevenueCat SDK generates a random anonymous App User ID on the device.
RevenueCat may process that anonymous identifier; product, offering, entitlement, purchase history, and transaction information; Apple receipt, App Transaction, or transaction identifiers needed for validation; restore information; and purchase-related technical information such as app, device, platform, operating-system, version, locale, storefront, and App Tracking Transparency consent status. The SDK may send the Apple vendor identifier (IDFV) when it is available. Internet service providers may also receive ordinary request metadata such as an IP address.
DOYT does not configure RevenueCat with a custom identifiable user ID, name, email address, phone number, IDFA, advertising attribution, or custom customer attributes. RevenueCat handles information under its own Privacy Policy. Apple handles App Store purchases under the Apple Privacy Policy.
4. Operational notice request
At most periodically, DOYT checks a public HTTPS JSON file at pawpawdigital.com for important operational or update notices. The app makes a GET request with no request body and adds no task content, support ID, custom user or device identifier, or data-bearing query parameter. It may send standard Accept and cache-validation headers. The hosting provider can process ordinary network metadata, such as IP address and request time, as part of delivering and securing the page.
5. Advertising, analytics, and tracking
DOYT contains no third-party advertising SDK and no separate analytics SDK. It does not use your data for cross-app or cross-website tracking. RevenueCat is used for purchase infrastructure, not advertising.
6. How information is used
Local information is used to provide the timer, task history, widgets and Live Activities, personalization, presets, previews, and app preferences. Purchase information is used to complete and restore purchases, validate entitlement, prevent unintended access, and assist with purchase support. Network notice information is used only to retrieve and display relevant operational notices.
7. Retention and deletion
Local content remains until you change or delete it, use applicable in-app controls, or delete the app. The in-app data reset removes tasks, sessions, action history, task emoji, and certain preferences, but it intentionally preserves purchase and access evidence and does not erase every local state, including the Pro Preview record, Remote Notice state, saved style presets, or derivatives still referenced by presets. Deleting DOYT is the broadest user-controlled way to ask iOS to remove DOYT-managed local data from that device; final device and backup handling is controlled by Apple.
Apple and RevenueCat retain purchase and transaction records under their own policies and legal obligations. Deleting local DOYT data does not delete those provider records and may not prevent a valid purchase from being restored.
8. Your choices and requests
You can manage local content in DOYT and can delete the app. Because PawPaw Works does not receive a server copy of your task and session content, we cannot retrieve or remotely delete that local content. For a privacy question or a request concerning information handled by PawPaw Works, contact us below. Rights available under the law that applies where you live remain available to you. Requests about Apple or RevenueCat records may need to be directed to that provider.
9. Changes to this policy
If DOYT data practices or service providers change, PawPaw Works will revise this page and update the date above. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or by another reasonable method.
